Who Has Always Been the Father of Nicholas Scratch in Agatha All Along?
Nicholas Scratch’s parents, according to showrunner Jac Schaeffer, are Agatha Harkness and Rio Vidal, also known as Green Witch.
Showrunner Schaeffer recently spoke with Backstory Magazine about the identity of Agatha All Along son Nicholas Scratch’s possible father. Jokingly, she recalled the casting moments when they saw children and thought it looked like Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal. In other words, she seemed to indicate that viewers would suddenly realize that Green Witch is Nicholas’s parent.
She added that they are unsure if the narrative of Rio and Agatha would be of interest to the public. Nonetheless, their chemistry and narrative received a very positive reception. “I didn’t think the shippers would be so passionate. You never know if people will care or how something will land. I’m amazed at how many people actually care.
