According to a previous story, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, were reported missing when their car was discovered abandoned next to a road in rural Oklahoma in March. They were later discovered dead on April 14.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation (OBSI) reported the arrest of four individuals the day before the remains were discovered: Tad Bert Cullum, 43; Tifany Machel Adams, 54; Cole Earl Twombly, 50; and Cora

According to an Oklahoma Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) death report that was able to obtain, “multiple sharp force trauma” was indicated as the victims’ likely cause of death.

The deaths of Butler and Jilian Kelley were likewise reported as homicides in the documents. Oklahoma OCME informed that the complete medical report will be made public on November 15.

In support of holding a preliminary hearing for the five defendants, the brief also claimed that Adams purchased yellow “straps” that were used to wrap a freezer where the victims’ bodies were discovered and stun guns, one of which was discovered at the burial location.

According to the brief, Cullum allegedly obtained authorization from the owner of the land where the bodies were found to dig a hole with him the day before the murders. Authorities have not connected the landowner to the probe.

The brief claimed that Grice also threw away his knife and that Cullum and Grice drove the victims to the graveyard, where they threw away their clothes. Investigators recovered the articles, and they found that Grice’s clothing included Butler’s DNA, while Cullum’s apparel contained Kelley’s DNA.

As “lookouts,” Cole and Cora Twombly were to be named in the brief.

The “God’s Misfits”  group condemned the crime on Facebook two days after the bodies of the victims were discovered, posting the following along with a link to an article:
